WELCOME TO THE REAL LIFE 101 WEB SITE

Real Life 101, a 501(c)(3) organization, provides college scholarships for graduating high school seniors. The organization, formed in 2000, has awarded over 130 scholarships.

Funded by corporations and private donors, Real Life 101 targets students faced with financial obstacles that threaten to prevent them from attending college. In addition to financial need, eligible students must be male and accepted into a full time college program.

High school counselors select students who should be considered for the scholarship. Candidates must complete an application and submit a 1000 word essay describing their goals for the future.

MISSION STATEMENT

The Real Life 101 Scholarship Fund and its board of directors are committed to improving the higher education opportunities of at risk inner city youth. Our program provides funding, laptop computers, mentoring and tracking of our selected students. We will continue to support and provide guidance to these future leaders of tomorrow through our collective commitment and resolve.
